Turkish drone giant Baykar is now working on small modular reactor (SMR) nuclear technology, aiming for a 40-megawatt prototype, Turkish energy minister announced.
The drone-maker has already stretched its business portfolio, now being active in following areas;

▪️Skydagger: FPV and Kamikaze drones
▪️Piaggio Aerospace: Aero design production, engine technologies, UAV and MRO
▪️Baykar Engines: Drone engine technologies
▪️Fergani Space: SLV, GPS Satellites, Space tug
▪️Baykar (nuclear): Small nuclear reactor technologies
Known for their innovative investments, Bayraktar brothers’ new entrepreneurship did not come as a surprise.
Meanwhile, Baykar Tech’s Kızılelma unmanned fighter is expected to be the most profitable product of the company after put into service. Kızılelma had hit an air target with BVRAAM two weeks ago.
