Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s communication director Burhanettin Duran has slammed Israeli premi minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his X post.
Duran said;
“It is ironic for Israeli leaders to speak about imperialistic ambitions of others in this region while they have just committed one of the worst genocides in history. Israel has been a destabilizing force and their long-standing hysteria about Türkiye’s power and influence is simply comical.
Under President Erdoğan’s leadership, Türkiye has been a source of stability and peace. In contrast, the Netanyahu government brought blood and tears to the region. The Israeli government is trying to disguise its territorial ambitions as national security requirements, as they remain an occupying power in Palestine and Syria.
Israel has attacked some seven nations in the Middle East in the last two years. The Netanyahu leadership has been a disaster not only for the region but also for the Israeli people. Now, the same leadership wants to shift the focus away from their crimes by attacking our country.
As Türkiye, we will always stand firm alongside all those who desire peace and stability. No cheap shots and ridiculous statements like that of the Israeli Prime Minister will deter us from our support for our Palestinian brothers and sisters. Peace will prevail despite those who seek to destroy it!”
