The Israeli army continues to inflict heavy casualties in its offensive in the Gaza Strip.
Finally, at least 5 soldiers were killed in an attack in Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza.
Israeli soldiers on patrol in Beit Hanoun were targeted with a pre-laid explosive device in the night.
In a statement made by the Israeli army, it was recorded that 5 of the soldiers on foot patrol were killed and 14 were wounded, 2 of them seriously. The actual death toll remains unclear.
With the latest attacks, the official casualties announced by the Israeli military since October 7, 2023 have risen to 888.
Israel’s actual casualties are believed to be higher than the official figures.
The losses of mercenaries and private security firms working with the Israeli army are unknown.
