Hamas kills dozens of Israeli soldiers in Khan Younis

At least 20 IDF soldiers were killed and wounded, following a major incident that took place in Khan Younis, media reports. Some outlets wrote that 22 soldiers were killed after Qassam reportedly detonated two buildings, and a third building collapsed over the heads of an entire IDF force.

At least six soldiers were allegedly killed in a targeted Merkava tank after an Israeli jet hit it to prevent soldiers to be hostages, implementing Israel’s Hannibal doctrine.

Total death toll in last night  exceeded 50 soldiers, Israel’s Channel 12 claims, making it the worst day after Israel launched counter operations.

While intense clashes continue in western Khan Younis, IDF forces have completely withdrawn from the southeastern part of the city following the strikes of the militants, according to local sources.
