Israel threatens to fight Türkiye in the sea. Straturka has gathered several reports about Israel’s intention.
First, Amir Avivi, retired Israeli Brigadier General and former advisor to the Minister of Defense: “We don’t want Türkiye to grow stronger and acquire new capabilities, but that’s what’s happening.” “The next major war will be at sea; our navy is smaller than those of Türkiye and Egypt, so the Israeli navy must grow.” “The Turks are becoming increasingly dangerous; our naval forces are critical to countering these capabilities.”
On the other hand, Israeli Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli said: ” We must prepare for war with Türkiye. There could be direct contact with the Turkish army at sea. This is not an impossible scenario; it could happen as early as tomorrow morning.”
Finally, Israel is considering purchasing P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft to counter Türkiye’s expanding submarine fleet, media reports.
