US vice president JD Vance has said on the Judea and Samaria sovereignty vote in the Knesset yesterday: “It was a very stupid political stunt, and I personally take some insult to it… The West Bank is not gonna be annexed by Israel.”
Vance was in Tel Aviv to prevent Israelis not to breach Gaza peace plan.
After Vance’s comments, pro-Israeli trolls increased their insults on Vance. Particularly, Vance’s Indian-origin was a matter of insult in social media posts.
Israeli accounts, on the other hand, blamed Vance for insulting their country. Despite that the US staunchly supports Israel with lucrative donations and weapons, Israelis still attack US politicians, some analysts say.
