Turkey

Sending military forces to Syria is essential for Türkiye

It is more likely than ever that the terrorist state of Israel will come back to haunt Turkey in the not too distant future and try to paralyze our country with a sudden attack like Iran.

The reason may be an incident in Syria or Cyprus, it may be the anger caused by the Israeli oppression that has become unbearable (even if it is not done to us) or Israel’s fear of Turkey. They say that one is an enemy of what one does not know.

Since Israel does not know Turkey’s power, its enmity and restlessness are increasing, and it may attack Turkey suddenly one night to get relief. As courage mobilizes people, fear also mobilizes people. Many murderers have killed because they were cowards.

One way or another, an enemy is lurking and testing Turkey’s courage through Syria.

Just like he is testing Iran and Hezbollah. These two actors did not dare to confront Israel. They talked a lot, they said big words, but when they failed to act, it became clear that they were bluffing and eventually their leadership team was destroyed. If they had been brave instead of playing theater, the situation would have been different.

Now Turkey and the Turkish army are going through a similar test. Israel is sending a message to Turkey while carrying out actions in Syria. It is curious about Turkey’s attitude after each attack. In fact, Israel played a more active role in Syria after Assad’s ouster. In addition to taking the south of Damascus permanently, it also took the Druze under its protection. Probably the Druze region was cut off from Syria for good.

But Israel is not satisfied. On the one hand, it is trying to give the Alawites hope for a state or autonomy, and on the other hand, it is trying to prevent the YPG from integrating into the Syrian army. In this way, Syria will be divided into four and the ongoing peace process in Turkey will end. Perhaps Turkey will have to carry out terrorist operations again. Therefore, for Turkey, there will be no difference between a few years ago and today in Syria. Turkey will feel the sting of the knife as Syria is sliced up and becomes a morsel for Israel.

Of course, all this will happen if Turkey does not act sooner rather than later. It is now clear that if we wait a little longer, a panorama will be formed in Syria in the way Israel wants. In order to prevent this, the most advanced weapons and some troops must be sent to Syria. The legitimacy of such a decision cannot be questioned. For one thing, the Syrian government is not against the Turkish military presence and it is in their interest. In this case, it doesn’t matter what anyone else says. On the other hand, it is time to show teeth to YPG terrorism. Either they will survive by standing with Damascus and Ankara, or they will perish as militants for Tel Aviv.

It seems that the YPG will not make up its mind until it sees the hard power. If there is a Turkish military presence in Syria, their decision-making may accelerate. Since they don’t move much when they see the carrot, there is no solution left except to show them the stick. Deploying forces in Syria will probably push the YPG to the other side.

On the other hand, even if the YPG makes a positive decision, the presence of military forces in Syria is essential for the territorial integrity of Syria and the frustration of Israel’s plans. There will be warplanes, there will be missiles, there will be soldiers in Syria. This is of course a message for those who understand. However, the nature of the message is the defense of Turkey instead of invasion or aggression. However, if someone attacks, it is possible to move from defense to attack and enter into an existential war.

As far as we can see, state officials are also alert to the danger and imminence of the threat and are doing their best to take precautions. Nevertheless, in order to support them, let us write down how we view the issue. If the sword is unsheathed, the pen should not be far from the sword, even if there is no room for the pen.
