KTJ-3200 Turbojet Missile Engine
KTJ-3200, developed by Kale Jet Motorları within the scope of the “Turbojet Engine Development Project” initiated by the Presidency of Defense Industries, is Turkey’s first indigenous turbojet missile engine.
The KTJ-3200, which powers the ATMACA Anti-Ship Missile developed by Roketsan and the SOM Cruise Missile developed by TÜBİTAK-SAGE, differs from its counterparts with its low specific fuel consumption. It is known that the relevant country imposed an embargo on the turbojet missile engine, which was used in both SOM and ATMACA missiles before KTJ-3200 and supplied from abroad.
