Dubai; The dead city

Once one of the most attractive cities thanks to being a business and tourism hub, Dubai has severely been affected by US/Israel-Iran war.

Iranian army targeted city almost as much as Israeli cities. So many residents had to leave the city due to continuous attacks. Iran accuses UAE of being an Israeli ally, which Abu Dhabi administration doesn’t deny.

After missile and drone attacks the city is no longer a destination foreigners visit. Those having their business in Dubai also left the city. There are no regular flights to Dubai airport  due to security fears. People also don’t prefer to fly with Emirates and Etihad, two prominent airlines based in UAE.

However, the worse has not come, analysts argue. Since Dubai is no longer a safe haven for business and an attractive destination for tourism, foreigners’ interest in the city has seriously diminished. It will no longer return back to its pre-war days, analysts claim.

Many multinational corporations have already left the city and they seem won’t return back.

Political analysts on the other hand blame UAE administration for not remaining neutral but supporting Israel, which is now seen as the only trouble-maker in the region. An analyst told Straturka that “UAE administration is the sole responsible for this situation. If you align with the evil, your end won’t be good. So, Emirate guys should blame themselves first.”
