This week at the Munich Security Conference, former congressman Mike Gallagher, and now a Palantir executive who first introduced the bill that claimed that TikTok was a national security threat, confessed that they introduced the bill to ban TikTok on request of Israel. Gallagher said;
“So we had a bipartisan consensus. We had the executive branch, but the bill was still dead until October 7th. And people started to see a bunch of anti-Semitic content on the platform and our bill had legs again.”
Gallagher and many other US congressmen and senators are getting donations from Israeli lobbies like AIPAC.
On the other hand, believing that TikTok would be forced to be sold, some Jewish businessmen had made preparations to buy its America operations.
Meanwhile, Mike Gallagher joined Palantir, which works with CIA and has good relations with Israel. The owner of Palantir Alex Karp is known for his being a staunch Zionist.
