Russia has, for the first time, carried out a delivery of Su-57 fighter jets to a foreign country.
The Russian State Aviation Authority announced that fifth-generation Su-57 fighter jets were delivered to a foreign customer for the first time. The statement mentioned that two Su-57 aircraft were delivered, but the identity of the purchasing country was not officially disclosed.
However, Algeria confirmed earlier this year that it had signed an agreement with Russia to purchase the Su-57E model, making it the export customer for the fifth-generation Russian fighter jets. Algeria’s announcement was recorded as the first confirmed export contract for the Russian fifth-generation fighter jets.
