The Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) published the “Turkey’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises 2024” survey. In this context, Turkey’s largest defense industry companies were announced. According to the research, the leader of the defense industry is TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc.), while companies in this field have seen an increase this year.
According to the research, TAI, the largest company in the defense industry, ranks third in the ISO 500 list with 15,515 employees. With sales of TL 98 billion last year, TAI moved up six places to 11th place.
Following TAI, ASELSAN climbed two places to 17th place this year. The company’s total sales amounted to 78.6 billion TL. ROKETSAN, another defense giant, climbed 15 places to 35th on the list with sales of TL 42.8 billion. Otokar, MKE, TEI, BMC, HAVELSAN, Canik, ALP Aviation and Nurol Makina followed these companies in the defense industry. It should be noted that some defense industry companies, such as Baykar and FNSS, were not included in the survey as there was no obligation to participate.
