Türkiye enjoys parades of its indigenous weapons

Turkish defense industry is either delivering its brand new weapons nowadays or testing them.

The biggest ship, namely TCG-Anadolu LHD, was delivered to the navy last week. It was docked in Istanbul for people’s visit. The ship will carry drones, helicopters, light attack jets and armored vehicles.

In addition, the first two units of indigenous Altay tank were delivered to Turkish land forces for a two-year testing. The 3rd generation tank is equipped with Korean power plants. When tanks pass tests, mass production will start.

On the other hand, TUSAŞ successfully tested its domestic-made civilian helicopter with an indigenous engine, which is produced by TUSAŞ’s subsidiary TEI.

TUSAŞ will also fly its light attack aircraft Hürjet and new turbo-prop engined Anka-3 drone for the first time by the end of the month.

Other Turkish companies do not remain idle, either. Munition, electronics and missile producers continue to test or deliver their products.
