Partially concealing a country’s military strength, capacity, and capabilities is essential for emerging victorious from war. Military secrecy is crucial in terms of covering up weaknesses, if any, or making it difficult for the enemy to take measures against the existing military power. An enemy who does not know what weapons you have will fear you. However, if they do know and you are truly weak, they can inflict a humiliating defeat on you. Sometimes, knowing what is in the inventory can also be a deterrent. For example, no one dares to touch countries known to possess nuclear weapons today. Nevertheless, keeping certain things (weapons) secret will be beneficial for armies. This way, the enemy’s plans will be thwarted in battle, and an absolute victory will be achieved.
After the above theoretical discussion, turning to practice, it would be a natural strategy for the Turkish army to conceal some of its weapons (whether domestic or purchased) in a similar manner. This strategy is probably being implemented. We do not know what other types of domestic and foreign weapons our army possesses. However, considering that the most deterrent weapons in wars are air attack and defense weapons, even if we do not know what is being done in this regard, we can offer advice on what could be done.
It is well known that we need a few more fighter jets. It is also well known that America, which acts like Israel’s colony, will not sell either the F-35s or the new version of the F-16s. Even if it did sell them, it would not allow their use without remote intervention. Therefore, America cannot be trusted in this regard. We can also say that hopes for the Eurofighter have been in vain. Even if some producer countries support the sale, Germany, whose prime minister cried for Israel and approved the killing of Gazan children by sheddi
However, Israel is waiting for an opportunity to attack Turkey. Don’t listen to those who say Israel won’t attack us. We advise you not to pay attention to those who dismiss the possibility of war by pointing to Turkey’s NATO membership, the distance between the two countries, and past similar conflicts. Or, if you prefer, believe them. But it should not be forgotten that a state/army must prepare for the worst-case scenario.
According to the worst-case scenario, Israel will attack Turkey when it finds the opportunity. Then we will be forced to fight, and either Israel or Turkey will be wiped off the map. Our wars will not resemble the wars of others. We will be engaged in a war of survival. Because the enemy we face has no mercy and no limits. The aforementioned enemy will not leave us alone until it is destroyed.
Under these circumstances, we would like Turkey to address its deficiencies in fighter jets and hypersonic missiles. They are all in inventory, but it is unclear how sufficient they are. Therefore, for example, Chinese fighter jets that have proven themselves in Pakistan could be purchased and parked in Pakistan as if they were Pakistani aircraft… Missiles could also be purchased from Pakistan and stored in Turkey’s arsenals… Then, when the day comes, they could be used, and the enemy would be caught off guard. Wouldn’t that be good?
We don’t know which of these suggestions are feasible, but war also has its R&D. Preparations must be made for the deadliest wars, and nothing should be left to chance. Weapons, muscle, brains, and courage must be used together. If anything should be neglected, it should be international agreements and alliances. No one is a friend enough to die for another. Therefore, alliances and friendships end when war begins. The agreements are already ineffective. If those agreements had been adhered to, Israeli leaders would be executed today. But as we can see, those who impose the agreements are supporting genocide. For them, Turkish blood is no more valuable than Palestinian blood.
In conclusion, we must be prepared, both secretly and openly. Negligence brings only shame and death.
