Qatari capital Doha was bombed by Israeli jets in order to assassinate seven top Hamas officials. The attempt fortunately failed but as Israelis confess, they will do it again and again whether in Qatar or in another place until they kill the enemy (!).
While Hamas is put forward as a pretext for the operation, perhaps the whole world is now sure that Israel targets any country, group or individual it deems as enemy. Remember how they attacked Syria, Iran, Lebanon and Tunisia. Mentioned countries did not shot any single ammunitions to Israeli lands but they still were attacked just because they are disliked by Israel.
Qatar being the latest victim of Israeli aggression, Arab states must awaken and understand that Israel will never be their friend. Abraham Accords are just an illusion to make signatory Arab states against Israel’s persecution in Palestine and else. Particularly the UAE and Saudi Arabia should not think that they are safe by being on the side of Israel. They also shouldn’t claim that Qatar was attacked because it hosts Hamas members. From Israeli perspective, all Arabs, Muslims and even Christians are enemies.
In addition, all Arab and non-Arab states that assume the US as an ally should admit that Americans never give up Israel. Remember how Doha was bombed despite hosting CENTCOM. Qatar spent huge amounts of capital for American guardianship but Americans supported Israel, which siphons American money.
The lesson learned for all regional states is not only to abandon the US but all potential great powers. In other words, replacing the US with China or Russia or any other country is not the remedy. The solution is to unite and choose a leader among themselves. Türkiye can be a good leader but I am not insistent on it.
Plus, they should not be dependent on US and western arms and armies. One alternative is Turkish defense industry. Türkiye is developing state of art weapons. Its indigenous jet KAAN made its maiden flight and testing process continues. Türkiye also produces hypersonic missiles, drones, armored vehicles, helicopters, etc. Turkish government doesn’t put conditions for partnership nor sales for its friendly and brotherly countries.
Doha attack should be a breakthrough for union of regional states. Muslim/Arab states have no friends but themselves. Silence and fear will make easy baits. They must act fast otherwise it will be too late.
