Winner of the Pakistan-India war

After the killing of 25 tourists in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India claimed that Pakistan was behind the killing, and in revenge, India attacked Pakistan with planes, missiles, kamikaze drones and artillery. After a few days, the relatively stronger Indian army has been and will continue to be embarrassed beyond forgetting.

How could it not be embarrassed? As Pakistani and Indian jets dogfight in the air from 200-300 kilometers away, the Pakistani air force shoots down five Indian jets. Pakistani jets return without any casualties. Meanwhile, the Indian air force has state-of-the-art French-made Rafale jets and slightly older Mirage jets. Allegedly, Pakistani jets shot down at least one and at most three Rafale jets, embarrassing France. Because the French were very proud of these fighter jets and sold them to many countries such as Greece, Saudi Arabia, Brazil and the UAE. Especially the Greeks were making big promises when they bought Rafales, thinking that they had an advantage over the Turkish army.

It is not known how the Rafale sales will be after this time, but it is almost certain that the jets (and air-to-air missiles) that will be sold will be Chinese. Because Pakistan used Chinese J-10 jets in the dogfight and the J-10s shot down at least two Indian jets. It is also rumored that the French Rafale was among them. The J-10s shot down the Indian jets with PL-15 air-to-air missiles. This missile has a range of 300 km. Pakistan is said to have a version with a range of 145 km.

China’s war technology has therefore defeated France’s war technology. This victory has also worried America, as it means the revelation of what the rising Chinese state has achieved behind the scenes. Because they realized that they are no longer dealing with a country that produces jets that hunt Western jets, but a country that produces jets that hunt Western jets. Probably the US attitude towards Taiwan will also change after the Pakistan-India conflicts. Because it is now clear that China is another winner in the conflict between Pakistan and India.

On the other hand, Pakistan seems to have made the right choice by distancing itself from the US, which has always imposed an embargo on Pakistan and supported India, and by siding with China. China, on the other hand, seems to have gained a good ally by not imposing restrictions on arms sales to Pakistan.

Turkish officials must also be pleased with the recent clashes. Turkey is in a relentless struggle to produce its own airplanes and missiles. It has almost solved the missile problem. Pakistan’s support in this should not be forgotten. They are still supporting the Turkish defense industry for long-range missile types. Therefore, it has already won by keeping its friendship with Turkey. It is in Turkey’s and Pakistan’s strategic interests that this friendship should always continue at the highest level and regardless of who is in government.

On the other hand, Pakistan’s Chinese-backed success has also strengthened Turkey’s hand against Western arms dealers. As you know, Germany continues to cause problems for the Eurofighter. The US has not given F-35s. It is not clear if it will give F-16s. However, Turkey no longer cares about these whims. Turkey will buy fighter jets from China if it has to, and no one will accuse Turkey of buying bad Chinese jets.

The earth is spinning. But some parts of it, especially in the east, seem to be spinning faster. This speed will not harm Turkey, but it can also take it further. The meaning of this statement is not to turn our face to the east. Let us remain independent and use the wind wherever it blows. And let’s recognize that remaining independent has been the right choice in recent times.
