Important notice for all creators and aspiring monetized creators on X: the platform now requires ID verification for monetization. However, there are concerns about the company handling this process, #AU10TIX, which has ties to Israeli intelligence units Shin Bet and Unit 8200.
AU10TIX’s CEO, Ron Atzmon, is a former member of Unit 8200, and his father was involved with the Netanyahu party, Likud party in Israel. The company has a history of assisting the Israeli military with surveillance and intelligence gathering. Furthermore, AU10TIX was founded by former Shin Bet members as the technology arm of ICTS International, established in 1982.
This raises significant security concerns, as creators – including those who support Palestinian causes – will have to share their ID with a company closely linked to Israeli intelligence.
