YPG/SDF doesn’t fight ISIS, source says

Turkish authorities warn about SDF/YPG’s misleading claim that Turkish operations halt their fighting against ISIS. A source said that “YPG just uses fighting ISIS as an excuse to take support of the West. There is no ongoing fight between the two terrorist organizations”. He also said that “A weakened SDF/YPG will not  cause reemergence of ISIS because when Turkish army and FSA cleared ISIS from northwest Syria, the terror group did not revive. Instead of leaving some parts of Syrian territories to YPG terrorist organization, these parts should be given to their real owners, namely people.  There is no ISIS in al-Bab or Jarablus. So, when YPG is forced to leave, ISIS does not replace them”.

The source also welcomed international peace-keeping forces in north Syria.
