Five Turkish defense companies in Top 100 list

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) shared the following in the report it published today on the subject:

The revenue obtained from arms and military services sales by the world’s largest 100 arms-producing companies increased by 5.9% in 2024, reaching a record level of 679 billion dollars.


Following MKE’s entry into the Top 100 for the first time, 5 Turkish companies were included in the 2024 ranking, and their total defense revenues increased by 11% annually to 10.1 billion USD. The revenue growth of Turkish firms occurred above the world average.Aselsan entered among the top 50 firms. While 4 of our firms rose 5-10 places in the ranking, 1 of our firms fell back 7 places.

Turkey, in the Top 100, is the 7th country that achieved the most revenue growth; and the 11th country in total revenue.

It is expected that Turkish firms will reach a much better point in 2025.
