I followed the visit of Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his delegation to the Gulf countries. This trip, which included countries such as Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, was carried out using special air corridors.
However, these measures could not prevent us from being greeted with ballistic missiles and drones on Wednesday evening in Riyadh! As iftar approached, the “annoying warnings” on our phones continued throughout the night.
Minister Fidan shared that a prime minister who attended a meeting told him, “I experience this fifty times a day. I’m at a loss for words, and I couldn’t even go to my children’s side.”
The Ministry of Defense announced that only on that evening, 4 ballistic missiles and 2 drones were destroyed. Officials struggled to move our meeting with Minister Fidan to a shelter. The drone flying over our journalists in front of the hotel, which was live on air, put the Saudi police on high alert. They cut off the broadcast and caused serious trouble. Because they didn’t want this image to spread.
The state of alert continued in Qatar, our second stop. In fact, as we waited for the joint press conference, everyone’s phone started ringing with alarms.
The destruction of ballistic missiles and drones is, of course, very important. However, in this case, one should not think that there is no need to worry. Because defensive missiles cannot prevent the destruction of social psychology!
Indeed, the impact of this trauma is dominant everywhere. The previously vibrant Ramadan evenings I knew, the luxury hotels that were previously hard to find, are now shrouded in a sad silence!
Qatar was hit with 205 missiles and nearly as many drones. The UAE was hit with many more… As you can see, the “glamour” in the Gulf has disappeared.
They are struggling to understand these attacks
Minister Fidan told Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi, who called him during his meetings in Riyadh, “The missiles passing over our heads are giving us a ‘welcome party’.”
Gulf managers are searching for answers to the question, “Why did Iran attack us urgently, even though we gave the guarantee that US bases in our country would not be used?”
Despite their insistence that “this is not our war,” Iran’s attacks, and especially the targeting of civilian and economic targets, have further confused them. For example, the Qatari administration reacted strongly to the attack on natural gas facilities, asking, “What does Iran want from the breadbasket of Muslims?”
Iranian President Pezeshkian’s statement that “the disagreements between Islamic countries and us only benefit the Zionist regime” and his proposal to establish a “security structure consisting of Islamic countries in the Middle East” seem like “Persian talk” from the Gulf perspective.
If Iran continues, it will not go unanswered
The fear and anxiety experienced by the public in the countries targeted by Iran’s attacks have put their managers in a difficult situation. Schools were canceled, and the flow of life changed completely. The fact that no response was given to the missiles raining down for weeks has started to be questioned.
The reaction to the three missiles fired at Turkey is well-known! What if it continued?
In monarchies, the opinion of the people is important. In fact, the appearance of “power” based on “strength” makes the “king” look weak.
Therefore, the summit held in Riyadh with the participation of 12 countries is the “last diplomatic warning”! Gulf leaders insist that “Israel’s and the US’s attack on Iran cannot be a reason for Iran’s attack on us.”
It is understood that the meeting resulted in the agreement to convey to Turkey, the only country that maintains dialogue with Iran, that “if the attacks continue, we will no longer remain silent.”
Indeed, Minister Fidan’s statement that “it is necessary to sit and talk with Iran” confirms this expectation.
So, who benefits from a larger chaos in the region?
Only Israel!
Does Shia Islam order “service” to Israel?
Minister Fidan’s billiards game analogy explains the current situation very well. Indeed, Israel and the US are hitting Iran, and Iran is attacking prominent “Islamic” countries. As a result, Israel has eliminated all Islamic countries with one move!
So, why doesn’t Iran understand this?
Of course, it understands!
On the contrary, Gulf countries believe that Iran planned these attacks before Israel attacked.
In addition to this “common opinion,” Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Al Sani’s statement, “There is no doubt that we had nothing to do with it, and the question of why Iran attacked us right after Israel is a big question,” further strengthens the question of “what is Iran trying to do?”
One more betrayal…
With the thought that “Iran’s weakening will benefit Turkey,” Israel is seeking ways to drag Turkey into this turmoil.
So, what does the fact that Iran fired multiple missiles at Turkey mean?
Even if Iran’s “we didn’t send it” excuse is accepted, if it continues, the threat that the Iranian state cannot eliminate will have to be eliminated at its source by Turkey!
This means that “Israel kills two birds with one stone”!
So, who is Iran working for?
If it is said that “desperate Iran is trying to find a way out with the tactic of ‘if I sink, everyone sinks’,” then Iran attacked Islamic countries before Israel responded!
That is, it is implementing the strategy of “all Muslims sink”!
So, what kind of “Muslimness” is it when the Crusader Zionist alliance tries to destroy the Muslims around Israel, and “sinking all Muslims” is an effort?
