Eurosatory, one of the biggest defense industry exhibitions in the world, has started in France. Thousands of arms producers exhibit their weapons in their boots.
The exhibition is on media’s agenda with protests against Israeli firms. Accused of complicity in Israel’s genocide, pro-Palestinians groups rushed into the hall and protested the administration of the exhibition and Israeli participants.
To prevent any damages, Israeli firms built walls surrounding their boots. Walls reminded those built around the Gaza Strip. Social media accounts posted similarity and claimed Israel reaps what it sowed.
International relations experts argue that there is an ongoing process of Gazafication of Israel. Israelis are disliked by non-Israelis and they don’t want to Israelis in their countries. So many Israelis have been ousted from restaurants, hotels and other venues while they were on vacation. A few countries even banned visit of Israelis. Israelis may not want to go abroad in order not to incur hatred, an analyst said.
More public reaction is expected against Israelis in the future.
