Rasan Ramza, a Türkiye expert from Northern Iraq, has told Rudaw TV that the PKK has begun to lay down its first batch of arms in Tuwasuran village of Raniye town near Sulaymaniyah.
There were rumors that the terrorist organization would conduct a symbolic ceremony for laying down weapons.
More weapons are expected to be delivered to the observation group formed by Iraq, KRG and Türkiye.
The PKK had declared that it would dissolve itself last month.
