Türkiye’s leading drone-maker company Baykar Tech, which produces renown Bayraktar TB2 UCAVs, will produce its own cruise missile. Selçuk Bayraktar, technical manager of the company, stated that they named it as Kemankeş, which is will be light and with a range of a few hundred kilometers. The first mock up of the cruise missile will be exhibited in Teknofest exhibition in May.
Kemankeş will be launched from drones and fighters. Kemankeş will also be the first ever munition produced by Baykar Tech, showing that the company has included the production of weapons to its business.
