Piaggio Aerospace, which made a powerful return to the aviation world following its acquisition by Baykar, signed its first official sales contract for the next-generation P.180 Avanti NX model at the AERO Friedrichshafen 2026 fair in Germany.
The company, which launched with a 2-aircraft order from a Europe-based operator, combines high-end executive transport and air ambulance missions in a single airframe.
Piaggio, which aims to increase its annual production to 30 aircraft with Baykar’s support, offers one of the most eco-friendly options in the industry with the Avanti NX, combining jet performance with turboprop efficiency.”
