History speeds up in the Middle East

By Prof. Dr. Ahmet Uysal

🔸 An agreement has been reached between the new Syrian Government and SDG-PKK.
1⃣ **Kurds are recognized as an integral part of Syria** and will not be excluded.
2⃣ **Syria’s unity is guaranteed**, with ceasefires implemented across all regions.
3⃣ **All armed forces will unite**, and customs, airports, and oil facilities will be integrated.
4⃣ **Cooperation against remnants of Assad** and against plots.
5⃣ **Collaboration on the return of displaced Syrians** to their homes.
6⃣ **Integration is expected to be completed by the end of the year**.
7⃣ **An independent commission will monitor the process**.

Meaning:
🔸 **Syria will not be divided**,
🔸 **PKK-SDG will not pose a threat to Syria and Turkey**.
🔸 **SDG-controlled oil, land, and water resources will be shared**.
🔸 **Turkish-Kurdish-Arab cooperation will increase between Turkey, Iraq, and Syria**.
🔸 **We will see a more peaceful region**, with fewer internal threats and conflicts.

**This agreement is closely linked to reconciliation in Turkey (with the PKK laying down arms).**
