Türkiye’s Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi has slammed Israeli PM in his tweet. Çiftçi said;
“The successive statements made by the genocidal Netanyahu and his government, who are disturbed by the truths revealed by our esteemed President @RTErdogan, actually demonstrate just how accurate those words are.
It is truly a lesson in hypocrisy for a government that massacres children, women, and innocent civilians in Gaza, uses hunger and thirst as weapons, and commits crimes against humanity in plain sight of the entire world to speak of morality, law, and human rights.
Those who try to portray the love for Jerusalem as an act of occupation should first look at their own records. The Netanyahu government is today the most blatant representative of occupation, expansionism, forced displacement, and land theft. The same mindset is also responsible for the massacres in Gaza, the land-grabbing policies in the West Bank, and the attacks destabilizing the region.
Jerusalem is an inseparable part of our faith, history, and conscience. Neither those who seek to distort this love nor those who try to interpret it as occupation and expansionism will be able to alter the truth.
Under the leadership of our esteemed President, Turkey will continue to stand with the oppressed and against the oppressor, steadfastly defending the Palestinian cause and the trust of Jerusalem.”
